Kassandra Ramirez

Kassandra is originally from the Rio Grande Valley but made East Texas her home away from home after college. Kassandra is a first generation college graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University, graduating with her B.A. Sociology. She is a proud sxster of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc., an organization that inspires her to continue to be civically engaged. Kassandra is a proud grassroots organizer, and formerly worked with Este Poder and R.O.M. before departing. Very happy to be back into this space in a new role! Kassandra is very passionate about community care and investment into youth power-building, believing that more people in her age group should have a seat at the table and support each other to make our communities a better place. In her free time, Kass likes to spend time with her cats and unwind with a good movie.
