Lina Ortega, was born and raised in East Texas and is one of the co-founders of Este Poder. She is excited to continue building the progressive movement that has been expanding throughout East Texas. Her goals with Este Poder are to organize our communities to build towards an equitable and inclusive Texas. Outside of her organizing life, Lina loves to travel, do puzzles, and spend time with her family and friends. 

Lina Ortega, nació y creció en el este de Texas y es una de las co-fundadoras de Este Poder. Está emocionada de continuar construyendo el movimiento progresista que ha estado creciendo por todo el este de Texas. Sus objetivos con Este Poder son organizar nuestras comunidades para construir un Texas equitativo e inclusivo. Fuera de su vida de organización, a Lina le encanta viajar, armar rompecabezas y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos.
